How To Import Contacts

First you Will Find your Previous Provider From the List below and Export and Save your Contact List. Then Follow The Instructions for how to Import the Contact List

Import Contact List

You can import a contact list from any email application that supports the .csv file format. To import a contact list, do the following:

    Create a Comma Separated Value (.csv) export file from your email application (e.g., Yahoo, Netscape, Outlook) (See below for exporting a .csv file from your email application)

    In Contacts, click the My Contacts link. Note: You cannot import contacts into a company directory.

    Click the Import/Export button.

    In the Import Contacts section, click the Browse button.

    Locate and select the .csv file you created in Step 1.

    Click the Open button. The path for the .csv file will appear in the Select a File box.

    Click the Continue button.

    You can view each individual entry by clicking the Next link at the top of the page. To ensure that your contact information is imported correctly, make changes to the field name assignments, as needed.

    Click the OK button.

 

Exporting Gmail contacts

You can quickly export your Gmail Contacts list into a CSV file. Here's how:

    Sign in to Gmail.

    Click Contacts along the side of any Gmail page.

    From the More actions drop-down menu, select Export....

    Choose whether to export all contacts or only one group.

    Select the Outlook CSV format to export your contacts' information.  

    Click Export.

    Choose Save to Disk then click OK.

    Select a location to save your file, and click OK.

 

 

Exporting Yahoo! Mail Contacts

Place all your Yahoo! Contacts easily into your Reagan email address books.

To export contacts:

    On your Yahoo! Mail page, click Options in the upper-right corner and select More Options.

    From the list on the left side, click Contacts.

    Click the "Tools" button just below the Contacts tab.

    Click "Export".

    Your options are:

        Microsoft Outlook:

        Netscape/Thunderbird:

        Yahoo! CSV:

        vCard Single File: (recommended for Palm Desktop users)

        vCard, Zip of .VCF files:

Choose  Yahoo! CSV to create a CSV file

 

 

Exporting contacts from AOL Mail

It's easy to export your contacts as a file -- in your choice of CSV  format.

Here's how:

1. In the left panel, click Contacts.

 

2. In the toolbar at the top, click Tools and select Export.

 

3. Then select the File Type CSV by clicking the radio button next to it, and click Export.

 

4. When you click Export, a file called "contacts.csv" is downloaded to your computer.  You have exported your contacts.

 

 

 

Exporting Contacts from Hotmail

For Internet Explorer:

    1. Sign in to your Hotmail account.
    1. Click the 'Contacts' tab.
    1. Click 'Print view.'
    1. Align the cursor with the first letter of the 'Name' column.
    1. Highlight your contacts by holding down the cursor and dragging it down the list.
    1. Hold down the 'Control + c' keys to copy the list.
    1. Open Microsoft Excel (or a similar spreadsheet program that supports comma separated values).
    1. Select cell A1 in Excel (the top square on the left side).
    1. Hold down the 'Control + v' keys to paste (don't use 'Paste Special').
    1. Choose 'Save as' from the 'File' menu, and select the type 'CSV (Comma delimited).' Make a note of where you saved the file.

For Firefox:

    1. Sign in to your Hotmail account.
    1. Click the 'Contacts' tab.
    1. Click 'Print view.'
